Inclusive Interaction Lab Exit Checklist

Use this checklist to systematically organize and archive your projects before your departure. This process is obligatory. Should you encounter any difficulties with the listed tasks, please notify me without delay.

  1. Project Source Code

    • Establish repositories for each of your projects. If repositories already exist, ensure all recent changes have been committed and pushed. It's crucial to maintain backups of all applications developed during your tenure at the lab.
  2. Return of Lab Materials

    • Return all items borrowed from the lab, no matter the perceived value. This includes books, equipment, and any other lab resources.
  3. Digital File Management

    • Upload all relevant digital files to designated OneDrive folders, ensuring proper organization:

      • Project-specific data, multimedia, and design files should be placed in their respective project folders.
      • Thesis or dissertation presentations must be uploaded to the Thesis/Dissertation folder.
      • User study data is confidential. Storing this data on personal devices poses a security risk. Please ensure these are securely archived in the designated folders.
  4. Physical Documentation Storage

    • Archive all physical forms, questionnaires, and other paper documents from user studies in the tall cabinet located in COB 268. Label folders clearly to facilitate easy future access.
  5. Contact Information Update

    • Provide a non-UCM email address via Slack for future correspondence. Consider adding this alternative email to your Slack profile for continuity. Keep me informed of your professional journey post-departure, as maintaining alumni networks is an integral part of my advisory role.
    • Your Slack account status will be changed from "member" to "alumni". As a result, you will lose access to both private and general channels but will gain access to a dedicated private alumni channel. You will retain access to all private messages.
